Placing files on an iPod

Page history last edited by PBworks 17 years, 3 months ago

After you have shared your Garageband file to iTunes you are ready to put your Podcast on an iPod to make it portable.

Make sure that you have iTunes opened.

Plug your iPod into your computer using the USB port.

If it is the first time that you have used your iPod you will have to give your iPod a name. One suggestion for naming your iPod would be the abbreviation L4L and your room number at school.

Once your iPod appears on the left portion of your iTunes screen you are ready to place files on your iPod.

Click on the "Library" folder and you should see all of the audio/video files you have stored in your iTunes library. Choose the file that you want to place on your iPod.

Click and drag the file to your iPod (drop it on the name of your iPod).

Your audio file should now be on your iPod!

Safely disconnect your iPod and attach your ear buds or speakers.

Press play and enjoy!
